<p><strong>도체</strong><br>[Conductor]</p>



<p>전기 혹은 열이 잘 흐르는 물질로 금(Au), 은(Ag), 구리(Cu), 알루미늄(Al) 등이 있다.</p>



<p><a href="https://bit.ly/3fSI5cV" data-type="URL" data-id="https://bit.ly/3fSI5cV" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">부도체</a>(Insulator)와 달리 외부에서 에너지를 가하지 않아도 원자간 상호 작용에 의해 자유롭게 움직이는 자유전자가 많아 전하가 잘 이동하는 물질이다. 여기서 자유전자는 어떤 원자에도 구속되지 않는 전자를 말한다.</p>



<p>아래 도체 그림을 보면 가전자대와 전도대가 겹쳐있는 것을 볼 수 있는데, 이는 가전자대에 있는 전자가 쉽게 전도대로 넘어감으로써, 자유전자가 되고 따라서 쉽게 전기가 통하게 된다.</p>
