<p class="has-text-color has-medium-font-size" style="color:#2d3293"><strong>□ 이재용 삼성전자 부회장이 19일 경기도 용인 소재 삼성전자</strong> <strong>기흥캠퍼스에서 열린 차세대 반도체 R&amp;D단지 기공식에 참석했습니다.</strong></p>



<p>삼성전자는 &lt;세상에 없는 기술로 미래를 만든다&gt;를 기공식 슬로건으로 내걸고, 기술 리더십을 바탕으로 혁신을 주도해 반도체 사업에서 또 한번의 큰 도약을 이뤄내겠다고 선언했습니다.</p>



<p>이날 행사에는 이 부회장을 비롯해 경계현 DS부문장, 정은승 DS부문 CTO, 진교영 삼성종합기술원장, 이정배 메모리사업부장, 최시영 파운드리사업부장, 박용인 시스템LSI사업부장 등 임직원 100여 명이 참석했습니다.</p>



<p>기흥캠퍼스는 1983년 삼성의 반도체 사업이 태동한 곳으로 &nbsp;▲1992년 세계 최초 64M D램 개발 ▲1992년 D램 시장 1위 달성 ▲1993년 메모리반도체 분야 1위 달성 등 &#8216;반도체 초격차&#8217;의 초석을 다진 곳입니다. </p>



<p class="has-text-color has-medium-font-size" style="color:#2d3293"><strong>□ 삼성전자가 기흥에 새로 건설하는 반도체 R&amp;D단지는 미래 반도체 기술을 선점하기 위한 최첨단 복합 연구개발 시설로 조성될 계획입니다. </strong></p>



<p>기흥 반도체 R&amp;D 단지는 약 109,000㎡(3만3천여 평) 규모로 건설되며, 삼성전자는 2025년 중순 가동 예정인 반도체 R&amp;D 전용 라인을 포함해 2028년까지 연구단지 조성에 약 20조원을 투자할 계획입니다. </p>



<p>R&amp;D 단지는 ▲메모리 ▲팹리스 시스템반도체 ▲파운드리 등 반도체 R&amp;D 분야의 핵심 연구기지 역할을 맡게 될 전망입니다.</p>



<p class="has-text-color has-medium-font-size" style="color:#2d3293"><strong>□ 삼성전자의 기흥 R&amp;D단지 건설은 국내 반도체 산업 생태계가 한 단계 더 성장할 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 전망됩니다.</strong></p>



<p>삼성전자는 기흥 R&amp;D 단지 건설을 통해 국내외 소재/장비/부품 분야 협력회사들과의 R&amp;D 협력을 더욱 강화할 계획입니다.</p>



<p>협력회사들과의 R&amp;D 협력은 양질의 일자리 확대와 우수 반도체 연구개발 인재 육성으로도 이어져, 국내 반도체 산업 생태계 발전에도 기여할 것으로 예상됩니다.</p>



<p>일부 장비·소재 협력회사들은 기공식을 축하하며 미래 반도체 기술 협력을 이어 나가자는 영상 메시지를 보내왔습니다.</p>



<p>경계현 DS부문장은 반도체 기술 경쟁력 확보 전략을 보고하며 &#8220;우수한 연구개발 인력들이 스스로 모이고 성장할 수 있는 다양한 교육 기회를 통해, 조직의 성장으로 이어지는 선순환 구조를 만들어갈 계획&#8221;이라고 밝혔습니다.</p>



<p class="has-text-color has-medium-font-size" style="color:#2d3293"><strong>□ 이재용 부회장은 기공식 이후에는 화성캠퍼스를 방문해</strong> <strong>임직원들과의 간담회 및 DS부문 사장단 회의를 가졌습니다.</strong></p>



<p>이 부회장은 직원들의 건의사항 등을 경청하고, 도전과 혁신을 촉진하기 위한 조직문화 개선 방안 등 다양한 의견을 교환했습니다.</p>



<p>반도체연구소에서 열린 DS부문 사장단 회의에서는 ▲글로벌 반도체 산업을 둘러싼 주요 현안 및 리스크 ▲차세대 반도체 기술 연구개발 진척 현황 ▲초격차 달성을 위한 기술력 확보 방안 등을 논의했습니다.</p>
